We know conspiracies have happened, because they always get exposed, and the ones that have been exposed involved very few people. Things like JFK, the moon hoax and 9/11 conspiracies require that tens or hundreds of thousands of people never expose them.
I had quite a heated argument on another forum over whether a "conspiracy theory" stops being a "conspiracy theory" when the existence of the conspiracy is confirmed.
Doesn't the language insist that when a 'conspiracy theory' is exposed, it becomes just 'conspiracy' (fact)?

That is what I was arguing, yes. I didn't quite get what the other side was getting at.
If you're not on edge, you're taking up too much space.
