We're okay. Our town is elevated a bit, so we're away from the serious flooding.

Some of the railroad tracks at work run through some unstable areas. Had a washout at one location.

I've seen that - very nasty.

At the same time, heat records are being smashed all over the southern states.

It's almost like the climate is changing to be hotter an wetter - how did nobody see that coming?
