Driving in fog scares the shit out of me, but it's nothing to being in fog on the water.
Hearing a fog-horn and having no clue where the ship is, is fucking terrifying. The only good news is, the sound of the bow-wave gives you enough warning to both shit yourself and move out of the way.
Seeing a ship coming out of fog is one of the most unbelievable sights you can see.

Dogs are not allowed in the Dog Park. People are not allowed in the Dog Park. It is possible you will see hooded figures in the Dog Park. Do not approach them.

We're okay. Our town is elevated a bit, so we're away from the serious flooding.President Bush wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 2:44 pmHow are things are your house?grayman wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:55 am Bit of rain around here lately.

Some of the railroad tracks at work run through some unstable areas. Had a washout at one location.

At the same time, heat records are being smashed all over the southern states.
It's almost like the climate is changing to be hotter an wetter - how did nobody see that coming?

Thunderstorms, tornados, and flash-flooding today.
No word on the plague of locusts yet.
