The War on Drugs

Post by Admin »

Claimed another victim.

Yesterday morning, my best mate phoned me up, and I knew as soon as he couldn't speak what had happened.

His son (25) had died from an OD of either oxy or smack - I'm not sure which and it's not very relevant.

I'd been telling him for weeks that he needed to act because the outcome was inevitable, but here we are.

If drugs weren't illegal, this wouldn't have happened. He would have been able to access clean, known quantities of drugs and would be alive.

That has to be rough. Folks aren't supposed to outlive their children.

Yeah, to say he's devastated would be a major understatement.

He was pleading with me to give him a link to my euthanasia kit page all day yesterday but failed.

My only nephew killed himself last Jan 26. He used ether. My sister remains somewhat shattered.

The list just grows longer.

This kid is the third we've had among our friends over the past few years. A 20 year old suicide and another 20 year old killed in a jetski accident.

No surprise women have greater life expectancy.
