H5N1 countdown

It's going to happen sooner or later, and it's highly likely an H5N1 pandemic will make covid seem mild.

It's only a matter of time until it gets established in pigs, and that's when the trouble starts, as in the Salon piece - 'flu loves pigs and they are the perfect vehicle for incubating human viruses.
I'm going to put my marker on 2028 for the start of the worldwide pandemic.
