I know I know, pot kettle black.

But jeebus fucking christ pal, give it up.
Meh, I think I have a right to be royally fucked off.

I've backed off so many times I've long since lost count, but the final straw has been put on the camel and I'm sick of it.

Great. I think we all see how terribly you've been inconvenienced. I'll not add to your burdens any longer.

But just because you think you have a right does not make it so.

Ok, I'll ease up. I may have overstepped the line if it's got to you!

I will self flagellate for 40 days and 40 nights.

Unless I can find a hot dominatrix to do it for me.

Stanky - sorry.

Must be the season - the sun actually shone here today and will again tomorrow, with 17 delicious degrees promised.

After 14 months of abnormal rainfall we could do with a break.

I fear for Aussie - you must be having a very dry winter. I'm seeing racetracks all over the place racing on firm ground when it's normally soft at this time of year. Summer is going to be horrific.

My dad, who is 85 this year and still extremely white, commented this week that he hasn't seen evidence of a lot of backburning this winter. I restrained myself and did not point out that this is likely because after the catastrophic 2019-20 season, a lot of jurisdictions are now adopting traditional indigenous methods of hazard reduction, which involves a lot of smaller, cooler fires to clear undergrowth and dried detritus and doesn't pump a lot of visible smoke into the atmosphere.

I hope that works, because the signs are all bad. I imagine there will be a helluva locust season too.

Me too. Regardless of any mitigating efforts, it's still going to be a bad season.
