i've cancelled christmas this year.
told 'em i'm out; i'll play later.
got one more event to dodge tomorrow.
neighbor's away; had a mess of lambs last night. one died. very jesusy scene, i guess. mary ate some yesterday. never seen a fattier meat. We're getting some chickens again. can't stand the store eggs. yolks spill out like foul liquid; gahh. Got a fella stayin the winter at the new shack. odd one; treads pretty light. Herb and fungi dude. barefoot in winter; leaning towards feral. rock and roll drummer too. Crazy combo. Stankerosa stays crazy. Me on final gush of building stuff before hands are useless; fun stuff, like priorities are rearranged. Can't waste time on normal things; it's a circus.
neighbor had same realization recently. not living forever; gettin crippled and weak; shit's harder than it was; clumsier; more painful. That's what seems to happen, obviously, but the point has finally been driven home, in a visceral way....which is rather exhilarating, really.

I'm half deaf now, but also playing meaner guitar. bass lately. that's a fun thing. brings out the funk in me.
