Maybe they're ready to reconsider?
You got banned twice, for talking naughty, and being me.

Like TA said, you could probably start over there again as a new guy.

¨Justin Case¨, ¨Guadalajara Facelift¨, maybe ¨President Trump¨ ... all good.

7 years? Must have broken a mirror.

It didn't stop him posting on Twitter flat out.

Just a little.

I understand your cynicism, but I think Icerat is doing a good thing right now.

Maybe if they knew i've changed?
Forgiveness is divine, i've heard.
I can barely muster an unclean thought.

(curious if there's an "endangered species celebrity bestiality" thread.)

There has indeed been a discussion about amnesty for banned posters. Alas, the consensus has gone against the idea, once again.

My jury remains out.

I see a bloke who's just said that he lost his business and income due to long covid illness. At the same time, a convenient idiot starts a thread that results in people saying they'd put money towards the forum to help it thrive.

If it hadn't been me started that thread I'd be calling stooge - the timing was impeccable and he now has a tidy little sum to go on with. And as for changing to XYZ 3.13, nobody will know if that even happens. The actual changes made to date have been emptying a few caches and adding https, which as I pointed out, is free.

I was going to answer that next.

Stanky, a sockpuppet is your only chance, but given your posting style I suspect you'll be caught in short order.

Back when I was a mod, I was advised that the admin team had methods of detecting socks other than a simple IP address match. I wouldn't recommend it.

What's the worst that could happen? He gets banned again - no loss at all.
