I think I would, too.

You can't help but be gobsmacked by the stupidity of these people.

"Criminals will find a way to kill them anyway"

Every other country in the world says that is pure bullshit.

No point even trying - SCOTUS made it plain which side of the 2nd Amendment they sit on. You're stuck with it for at least the next 30 years.

Tell that to Justice Scalia.

Oh wait, you can't. He's dead.

It feels rather hopeless. Even a ban on assault rifles would be fairly lame, as there are so many already in circulation. I can't see Americans voluntarily turning in their weapons like was done in Oz. Iirc, we have aprox 1/2 billion firearms. People also know how to make crude guns and ammo at home.
Our collective fear of losing our right to bear arms has caused a stampede to the gun shops. Even a murmur of regulations causes a spike in sales and manufacturing of guns. I'm sure this latest one will cause an uptick.

Still, refreshing to see a female for a change, in the mass murder show.
Or whatever she was. He?
Dead,

The little kids is rough.
Pity it doesn't happen in nursing homes instead of schools.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman comes out of House votes and implores journalists to ask Republicans what their plan is to address gun violence. Then Rep. Thomas Massie comes in a proposes arming teachers instead.
