Idiotically, and predictably, conflating two unrelated subjects.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amWhat the fuck does it even mean, to save billions of lives. Save for what? For how long? How does that work?
Simple arithmetic - I'm not surprised it's beyond you.
10 million people die from cancer every year. If they're not dying from cancer, they will have had their lives extended.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amAny magic thinking involved? What should people die from? Not die? Then go to Jupiter's moons?
It's nice of you to confirm you don't understand the simplest concept. Of course they'll die, but they'll die later than they would have.
I'm sure you'd much rather have 6-year-olds dying from leukemia and 30-year-olds dying from bowel cancer and not giving them such dangerous chemicals.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amAnd what's not to get, about concern for corruption, in the hands of companies that haven't earned any trust?
Or coupled with a corrupt government.
A mandatory vaccine, if there were evil people, would be the greatest way ever to manipulate a populace.
It needs extra protection... like a nuke arsenal.
You're parroting propaganda, not thinking critically. Being a zealot for something not thought out; being a chump.
I'm even going to dignify that shit with an answer. It's pathetic.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amBut that's nothing against vaccines in general. I'm a fan. But not that last one. Or the pandemic.
Lack of understanding noted.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amWhat the vaccine is claiming to do is based on a hypothetical scenario. It will keep you from hospitalization. How would we know that?
Because some of us can do maths.
The difference in mortality pre- and post-vaccine is so glaringly obvious even a moron would recognise it. It says a lot about your inbuilt bias that you fail to see it.

It's sad that I'm not surprised you'd make such an idiotic statement. I had some respect for you at one stage.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amHow long can you dodge the lab leak?
Nice to see you're so far down the rabbit-hole you now consider it factual that it was a lab leak in spite of enormous evidence to the contrary. Again, my surprise is completely absent.

It didn't do what vaccines are supposed to do. But keep taking it anyway?
Au contraire, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Deaths among vaccinated people are almost non-existent.
stanky wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:23 amWhen does it get absurd? Boosters every month?
Six months is fine. Please don't waste medical resources by getting them yourself.

Predictable retort. The parroted and repeated talking points from whatever mainstream pablum you consume, with the usual grade school insults. What i don't get is the fierce loyalty to something that's recently concocted.
It's not about science, that's for sure.
You'll simply ignore any data that threatens your position. And now, to try to understand why so many have been turned off to this disease and it's prophylactic treatments, you can only blame their stupidity. No issues with the pandemic? Or the altered promises and expectations? Oops, didn't stop the spread; oops, didn't give immunity. Now, a life time of boosters? And squelch any talk of alternatives, like fitness and vit d3 &k; weight loss, etc.
It helped old an infirm move along. Natural immunity ignored. Malpractice, really. Advising a healthy young person who's been infected prior, to take the shot...insane. To protect others? B.S.
I took it, btw. 3 times. My doubts are specific to this one case. It began when I tried to learn more about it, and found fog screens and voices of any opposition, silenced. Creepy shit. I'm allowed to reject it without rejecting medical science. You aren't allowed to read anything outside a narrow comfort zone, evidently. There's mountains of it available now. America has rejected the boosters. Despite desperate sales pitches. Last i saw was 18% compliance on boosters. So, U.S. is up to 82% morons? Nothing more to it?
