That's why our life expectancy keeps falling.

Another few generations and kids will be dying so early stillborns make up most births.

It's a crying shame you're not still a member of ISF - there's a bloke there who's in love with Cuba and their health system.

No doubt that why no Cubans try to leave the place: https://apnews.com/article/cuba-miami-u ... b2c1af4aac
Life expectancy in the U.S. has been dropping for the past few years. I mentioned Cuba as a surprising metric regarding health, compared to the U.S. Despite our modernity,we rank dead last in health outcomes among the modern nations. Yet we spend the most per person on health. That's a clear sign that something isn't working. We're fat and have the most chronic disease victims. Poorer nations often score higher in well being as well as education.

Why run with that Cuba reference as praise for their health care system? It was meant as contrast to how shitty ours is.
The links you provide are unrelated to the debate and insulting. I guess they give the appearance of evidence? They aren't.

I'm still troubled by your need to pigeon hole me into a convenient category...like the bloke at isf who's in love with Cuba and it's health system...which you dismantle with a link to Cubans coming to Miami...wtf does any of that have to do with me? Or the sentence prior, with the still-borns?
let's move on.

Something suggests to me this might not be a random act.

One of the first things FL and I did together after we met was to take a cheap seven-night package trip to Havana out of Mexico City, had to have been 1998, fucking great.

And just like the bloke at ISF you're looking at data* provided by a government that controls the media and has a vested interest in appearing to be successful.

That's why people leaving the place in droves is relevant.

What you "know" about Cuba is almost certainly false.

* I presume you're looking at data - you certainly haven't posted any.

My (Mexican) Spanish wasn´t bad though had a fucking hard time understanding the clipped lisping way it´s spoken there like Puerto Rican but even more.

Couldn´t figure out what this large group of young guys being really animated were all excited about when I was out walking around one time. Close to manic fervor, one guy would stomp away then stomp back close to being unable to handle the excitement, swinging his arms, pacing in circles, carrying on like nobody would ever be able to understand the crucial significance of what he was trying to say.

Knew it couldn´t be politics. Finally figured out they were talking about baseball.

Under those conditions, surprised the thought of life jackets.

And the truck looks as though it's propelling itself (nice modification)
