hell yeah.
as much as famous musician's are synonymous with early deaths of excess, there's an amazing number of them that are older than the life expectancy and still kicking ass. It kinda trashes the straight world's relentless admonishing; "Just say No!" when it's looking like ,maybe it's the way to go.
(On my bucket list is "be a heroin addict". My god, imagine how music suffers should you dump the heroin addicted from the collection.)
to everything turn turn turn there is a season turn turn turn

so great!
When that was on the radio as a hit song, me and my brother would try to sing that ending; seeing who could come closest to that trilling bip boppen wildness. Awesome to see a live thing, oozing funky good vibes and not much attention to wardrobe stuff.
it's like 'authenticity' has become a dial on an amplifier and pop music turns it to eleven.
fake sweat and well placed dirt
and Nashville's becoming a real city, with violent crimes everyday.
best 'summertime' ever, imho.
here's a beautiful song inspired by gliding:

Cool song!
I started my flying hobby in gliders back in 1976.
They're the only aircraft that birds accept as one of their own.
Not unusual to be climbing in a thermal, and looking off your wing to see a raptor flying formation with you.

we live vicariously thru your flights of fancy and un-fancy train rides.
J.W. is a strange cat. big hits; odd themes/
gliders sound awesome. for me, it would likely lead to powered para-gliders.
ever done that?
