i was standing at the foot of my steps today, and saw a snapping turtle tumble down them, pushed by the force of the rain and wind. that was new. tough beasts. waterfalls everywhere.
more of same forecast forever, i guess.
lightning was bangin hard and close. too slow to jump out of the way these days.
tree frogs lovin' it; out in force for the big sex party. loud.

we lost phone and internet for 2 days. peaceful. we had mixed feelings about getting it back on.
it's hard to remember what we did before it, but i don't recall hardship, particularly.
enough news came via radio.
but we're addicted now.

Yeah we got snakes and spiders and drop bears and shit, but what we don't got is tornadoes.
