Didn't see evidence of the situation being driven by religious zealots...
Can you think of anything else that drives that kind of "morality"?
I'll grant there are a few people who think mutants shouldn't fuck, in case they breed, but those people are even lower on the slimy cunt scale than religionistas.

Got me there, no I can't.
But unsupported conclusions are often wrong and occasionally dangerous. One thing is clear however. The asshat is a politician and that's often as irrational as the faithful.

In other religious news,
This pyramid in Utah is a winery, a temple, and home to the mummy of a religious leader

Satanic Temple says its 'HAIL' religious release program is coming to some Ohio schools
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/satan ... ngNewsVerp
According to the Washington University in St. Louis, "The Satanic Temple does not worship Satan or believe in the supernatural, the university says, but 'rather promotes equity, empathy, and social justice.'"
According to Republican State Representative Gary Click, "Most parents really would rather see their kids doing good, healthy things rather than satanic things..."

Absolutely antithetical to the right.

If they wish to be taken seriously, they've got to change that bullshit name.

I disagree - I think it works brilliantly, and there's no doubting their achievements.
It triggers the religious right, is attractive to supporters, and keeps them in the news. If they were called something else they would generate headlines.

"If they were called something else they would generate headlines."
Wait. Isn't that what they want?
Furthermore, religious release time takes away from legit time in a (hopefully) secular class environment. In simpler language, it's BULLSHIT. Went through that jackoff crap myself when the family moved to a small town with no Cathoholic school. Mommy Dearest decided it'd be a good idea for me to legally skip real school in favor of this bullshit indoctrination fuckery so she could fulfill her fucked up Cathoholic obligation regarding her whelps.
Because that's what Sky Fucking Daddy wants you see.
Nonsense. They wanna cram that shit down children's throats let 'em do it on their own time. It's called Sunday School.

They could start with Hitler in a tutu having a pineapple shoved up his ass by Harvey Keitel as Satan, in Farsi.
