Fascinating stuff.
The next four years are going to be very interesting.
It was very interesting on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg, too.
I have no idea what to expect. I suppose, in reality, the most likely outcome will be pretty much like the last time, except with even more brash idiocy.
It's the 2nd and beyond outcomes that worry me.
Dictatorship? War? Industrial pollution roars back with a vengeance? Trade war brings on a depression?
I wish I could rule any of those out. With anyone else, I would always say those possibilities were purely theoretical. With Trump? I can't even begin to imagine.
The folks over at Skeptical Community thought the whole Greenland/Panama/Canada thing was quite funny. I just can't imagine how a President-in-waiting could say those things.

Well horseshit. Knew it was coming but still damned sorry to hear of it. He and President Obama are the only two exceptions in this latest pack of Presidential retards, morons, and mental defectives.
But hey! That's democracy in action. And Dumbth assed Umerca gets what it fucking well deserves. Namely, a red hot fire poker up the ass.
So let the wailing and screaming begin with the repugnant smell of char-coaled shit gently filling the Cosmos.

Musk and Ramaswamy not getting along with the Trump base...
When Laura Loomer starts to be the voice of reason things are very strange indeed.

Like the old Chinese curse: May you live in interesting times.

I think war is less likely with Musk at the helm - he has too much invested in China.
My guess is the oligarchy will enact policies that fuck the poorest people even harder and they get buyers' remorse pretty fucking fast.

"Portland man" is perhaps a rival for the ultimate Stoopid Award over and above even "Florida man".
Darwin award winners for sure as they were too stupid to properly prepare for the conditions. Too stupid to realize there is no such damned thing as 'bigfoot' or someone else would surely have found fucking goddamned fossil remains by now. And too fucking stupid to live anywhere else but Oregon's revered city of assholes, Portland. I've put my time in thee and believe me it's not only full of fucking Dumbth, but it literally stinks too. Not sure why that is or what it is but if approached with an unfettered nose you'll pick it up on approach by car. And if by plane it will slap you in the face when stepping out of the terminal into the supposedly fresh air of the GPNW. I was born in Oregon and I never thought I'd say this but: I've had fucking well enough of it. Does not get a recommendation.
That out of the way, moving forward. Happy and prosperous New Year to all both members and lurkers here at Recogitare. Did anyone notice yet the senseless bullshit in New Orleans to start the new year off in style?

Too pissed off to read the entire story but I sincerely hope the Police had to kill the sonofabitch. Further hope that if so, he died slowly and painfully. And yes, feeling that way makes me ill.
Only in stoopid dumbth fucking brainless pinheaded Umerca. Goddamnit running uphill backwards in the snow with no shoes. Both ways to and from oblivion.

The article I read says that he was killed.
In other news that isn't getting as much notice, likely due to the non-Muslim name of the perpetrator:
