damn, Prez!
mine's been acting up.
did they let you keep it?
did you do the 'roto-rooter' thing first?
without that gland, how will you know when to get up all night to pee?
If my ego was as swollen as my prostate, i'd be exuding confidence.
best to you. hope your dick is ok.
Prostate gets sliced and diced to see what's in there. Pathology on mine showed it was good I got rid of the damned thing.
Protocol is to get the PSA checked 6-8 weeks after prostatectomy to see if PSA is near zero where it ought to be. That is if no cancer cells took up residence elsewhere after breaking loose during all the procedures.
Had the blood draw yesterday... result is 0.01 PSA meaning virtually undetectable, can't go much lower than that.
Time to start finalizing some plans for South America I hadn't made yet. We are out of here three weeks from today.

Prez says: "We are out of here three weeks from today."
Leaving for good or just a visit?

Have plans already made through April next year. That's good enough for now.
I could make a thread about our SA travels if anybody's interested.

indeed.
except maybe the prostate thing.
and selling your comics.
but i get it. let go of my record albums in the late 60's; had some great, obscure stuff. just left it; thumbed to California.
letting go feels good; someone must have found them.
it's so hard to not let stuff own us. there's so much of it out there! obsolete, but not quite antique. time and space feels more valuable these days.

At times we had a lot of stuff, stanky. Fun to have but too much work.

La Rinconada sounds 'interesting, Prez. Highest city in the world; lawless; mining for gold brings some desperate characters;' wild west; at the foot of an Andes glacier at 17000 feet elevation.
Here's what i saw:

The FL would fucking kill me if I took her there. At the north end of what's called the Antiplano, really high-altitude plateau that runs from southern Peru to down through Bolivia.
Not too far further south on the border Lake Titicaca is at 12,500 feet, we got plans to spend time there on the Bolivian side.
