No one's been that disappointed over a mere 2 inches since Stormy Daniels.

To be fair, it's pretty hard to get the ear of a President.

There are reports tonight that Trump was hit, not by a bullet, but by shattered glass from a teleprompter.

I'm not so sure if that could be true. I think the teleprompters were on the wrong side of his head. But I've also been trying to figure out the geometry that could produce the wound that was seen on the videos without at least doing some skull damage. That's part of what led me to speculate that maybe the injury was more serious that was acknowledged. If it was a glass wound, that would explain it.

I wonder if we will get a diagram at some point with exact descriptions of where bullets went, Warren Report style. It's a lot easier than it was in 1963, with so much more video, of much higher quality, with audio.

On the other hand, since the target didn't die, there's not nearly as much reason to go to those lengths.

hoo-boy,
there's already some witness interviews claiming some damning stuff about the protection.
as well as some way-out conspiracies, especially by republican law-makers; several claiming Biden more or less did it. Vance was one of them, possible next V.P. and Rubio and Marge Green, natch.

Case could be made, methinks, that because we've been told (by our president) that Trump is going to end democracy and destroy America, it's our patriotic duty to kill him. What better cause for murder could there be?

The kid being up there is real fishy. Maybe the agents orchestrated it, by order of Biden, but botched it proving that Trump has god's protection. There's a lot of ways this movie could go. Lots of hidden factors. Biden going down seems a certainty. The rest?

and now the weather:

"I like assassins that don't miss."

- Biden, probably.

sparks, gman, anybody else interested in exploratory trip to Colombia (you too, stanky) ... this town is small, beautiful, has international tourism meaning you can get by with minimal Spanish. Rains a lot but that means it is green as hell, with great bird populations, coffee growing everywhere, mountainous, not too high an altitude, good food, cheap by US standards.

Plenty of places to stay, Airbnb galore, like this...

Medellín not too far away, international airport with direct flights from the US. Colombian customs is very easy in my experience. Get three month stay stamped in your passport no problem.

I don't have any issues with it being the bullet that cut his ear. A very lucky or unlucky shot, depending how you feel about Trump.

The kid wasn't a good enough shot to make his high school shooting team, so it's probably a miracle the bullet went anywhere near him.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Mango definitely should not be President again. However, turning his brain (if you could call it that) into a fine pink mist isn't the answer. We need that for study that we might avoid such fuckers in the future. If we knew what makes Chump a goddamned Mango, we might inoculate against it.

I'd love to but for three problems: No money for such things right now, I have kittehs to take care of and my passport is long expired. I'd be starting from scratch on that I fear. But it is a lovely idea.
