Oh yeah, always a fun job, second only to giving them a bath.
A few thousand years ago, with my first wife, we had a cat adopt us and it decided to go exploring the chimney one day.
After giving it a bath, I decided I'd be using the toilet method if I ever needed to repeat the exercise.

It's related to the 'un winding a roll of toilet paper' trick. My cats love that one, so much that I don't dare leave the bathroom door open.
