An old expat buddy of mine who lived in Guanajuato died in the VA hospital in San Antonio, TX, a few years back, apparently from a brain tumor. I have a picture. Could be the most horrifying thing I have ever seen.

A worker of mine took a few days off a couple of years ago to have polyps removed from his bowel.

You saw the pic, stanky (I sent stanky a PM with photo link). Does it qualify as excretion, I dunno.

Word was that he died of brain tumor - as if that thing erupted from beneath his scalp - though that looks to me more like a really epic melonoma or basal cell carcinoma ie one that grew into his brain rather than out of it. Kinda looks like a melanoma on his shoulder, too.

FL has an appointment with a dermatologist next Mon for routine checkup, I'm going to ask the doc if she'd look at that picture, seems like it ought to be interesting clinically.

Why didn't he go to a doctor sooner? Fuck if I know.

there's a feeling i'd like to describe, using this metaphor:

you're walking along a soaked trail, jumping from rock to rock, trying to keep your boots dry, and finally, you can't anymore and you just walk into the water. It's cold; makes walking squishy and heavy, but it's a big load off. It's a really good bad feeling.
