That's why it's called the lucky country.
The luck runs out at some stage, though. They've been very lucky the past couple of years with no prolonged dry periods, but the clock is ticking and it's going to burn.

They could do that, sure. But hardly anyone really believes the bell is tolling for them until the chest pain starts or the Doctor informs that you're terminal.

I meant one of these.
Clock face is based on the sundial and since the shadow of the gnomon on a sundial in the southern hemisphere moves counterclockwise... seemed like the clocks might do that, too.
