What a great idea, the no cars day! Love the 'bring your dog to church' day and all the festivals and parades.
So different.
Sane, even.

Oratorio de San Felipe de Neri here in Sucre, built in the 17th century, is now a school for 5-17 year olds weekdays until about 2:30. Then the public can enter though it was virtually empty when we went in yesterday.

Sucre’s General Cemetery is vast and beautiful, really... walls of vaults organised in regular rows, five or six levels, vaults are have a shrine in front where souvenirs of the dead are left by the families. Been there a couple times, FL found it sad though, saw a father visiting, putting a teddy bear in a child's shrine. These pictures just a small fraction of the place.
