I had a good weekend. I bought a new sword - well, technically it's a shamshir. I've never played much with the curved swords before so this is something new to me. I've been playing the game for so long, there isn't much that is new, but I had a whole lot of fun with my new toy.

I got a quote for cleaning. I've lived in my place on my own for 7 years now and in all that time I've never been great at the basic housework - vacuuming, dusting, etc. I have disposable income now, and it is worth it to me to not have to worry about all that any more, and not be embarrassed about the idea of having visitors.

I bought some new socks and undies. I've got a shelf in my wardrobe full of old worn ones that I still need to get rid of, but it's good to have some more new ones.

My kids aren't normal, so the weekends are always pretty peculiar, and this one definitely was.
