Many years ago there was a webcomic where the entire schtick was that there was no fourth wall. The cartoonist regularly had conversations with the characters, to the point where the cartoonist was himself a character. Shenanigans occurred when some characters (well, one character) consciously decided to have a fourth wall.

It was a good series. It lasted exactly 1,000 strips and then ended well.

It was called 1/0.
