Haven't hit a vehicle yet, but I came within inches once with on stuck in snow next to the tracks.
Have come close to hitting drunk people sitting on or near the tracks as well.
I have hit a few fallen trees though. A storm might blow one over, but it doesn't contact the rail enough to drop the signals to red.
what's it like, hitting a tree? Do you even feel it?
ever see punks on rail bikes?
