There are issues with the way we pick elected representatives, but there are issues everywhere in the world where there are elections. I'm just glad we have elections to complain about. I was a Scout. We didn't call them "boy" scouts because girls weren't Scouts, they were Guides.

Well, I feel like I vote, and I do so based on my principles, and my assessment of which candidate I feel like best fits the vision of what I want from government. as far as i know, our electoral process is particularly non-democratic compared to other modern democracies. the electoral college sux; gerrymandering and redistricting; vote on a work day, not a day off; no rank choice or mandatory voting like Australia...our process weeds out the will of the peop...
