Rock & Roll Part 3!
#1
I'm starting this thread up as I'm going to have to remove the old one from the forum - it's too big for the server, so start posting here!

I was 17 when this song came out.

Still love it:

Love is... that one person whose freshly-warm toilet seat you don't find disgusting.

(I wasn't into beauty queens and cheerleaders at that stage.)

omg!

have you already removed it?

if not, is there a way a person could download the whole thread to a jump drive?
with minimal tedium?

I haven't deleted it yet - I'll check and see what I can do to save it for posterity.

If that thread could be reduced to just the music, it would be the ultimate mix-tape. There's so much cool stuff on there.

That would be the music to take on the sailboat, when there were other people on board. It changes groove all the time.
it's a treasure.
If you can manage to save it somehow, while also removing it from here, that would be heroic.

Society's Child (Janis Ian) was a hit in the mid-60's. She was 15 when she wrote it. It's about racism.

Looks like I've been able to do just that - I have all the posts and just have to check the videos all work.

Yep, absolutely brilliant - excellent pick!

I find it amusing and disappointing a video like that has had 400k views, while Baby Shark* has 4 billion.

*Don't even think about looking at it.

The punk band, "X" was absurdly labelled as a punk band..
They were way more like Peter,Paul and Mary.
