Enjoy the Slow Motion Train Wreck of NSW Greens
#1
This is hilarious, and had to happen - the NSW Green Party on gender politics:

https://www.smh.com.au/politics/nsw/destructive-extreme-left-forces-greens-mp-slams-buckingham-decision-20181209-p50l61.html

The days of innocent until proven guilty are well and truly dead for celebrities and politicians.

You'd think saving the planet would be enough, but Lord Acton continues to be right. Give people the merest taste of power and they'll go looking for targets unrelated to the goal.

Think I haven't been enjoying the hell out of all that delicious 'Greeniness'??  Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Quote:"I have been one of the most effective environmental campaigners in Australia over the past decade and I have poured my heart and soul into the Greens for nearly 16 years," he said.

"But the fact is that the NSW Greens as an organisation is corrupt and rotten."

Let's see that again!  ....
"But the fact is that the NSW Greens as an organisation is corrupt and rotten."

That is the first and only reliable statement ever made by a member of not only the NSW Greens, but in the entire history of all branches and forms of the ever morphing Greens Party!!

I've been telling everyone that for years.

This dozy bint must be the only one in the Party who still thinks the Greens give a shit about the environment!
She probably hasn't even noticed that the 20% percent who aren't 'alphabetical' are lechers!

She appears to be the only one who has never wondered why they're termed the "Greenmunists" either it seems.
Perhaps that term would have given her a hint that the 'Left' has been running it all along.
But she's only just noticed!?    Huh
How dopey is this woman??

Tricky Dicky Di Natale was standing there in Federal Parliament making an impassioned speech accusing the government of 'bullying' female members of it's Party while fighting like hell to keep that turd Buckingham from being outed publicly by the conga line of staffers who've been reporting his nasty handy groping habits to the very same Di Natale who had ignored or censured them to shut up.

But it gets better.  Buckingham's not the only one, from memory there have been 4 fairly recent reports of quietly vanished Greens candidates dropped from the ticket with no explanation from the Party but with plenty of information from the very surprised women they'd accosted!

At least the Gay Mafia faction of the Party are keeping their hands among themselves!

The 'environmental' faction has long since ceased to function, Ms Faehrmann, of whom I've never heard, must be the last one still standing.

Haven't heard one mention a whale for 10 years, no money in saving them, they're all gung ho to get onto the renewables bandwagon now, and making a fucking nuisance of themselves in stopping farmers running farms or the government building dams or whatever other dirty tactic gives them leverage to influence those in power by putting their votes on the open market.  This doyen of high environmental principles will vote for whoever rewards them best.
They've even voted AGAINST the ETS, and FOR a coal exploration lease over the last few years.  wow eh?
There's a Party for the environmentally righteously opinioned to rely on to save the planet.  I wonder why their percentages are slipping with each election? Rolleyes

They've been weighing in to the 'bullying' and misogyny fad lately, but that's blown up in their faces nicely.
Sometimes karma works.  Cool

Tricky Dicky himself was using backpackers as 'au pairs' and general domestic slaves in his own home, without paying them any wages at all!

He stood there bare faced in parliament and defended his use of their free labour as their contribution to recompense him for their "free board and lodgings."
Sounds like slavery to me,  shows how far out of the loop I am of the new "far Left" that has infiltrated the Party.  Sounds pretty far Right to me.

But it certainly isn't new!  They've been phony commos from the day they hijacked the Party from the whale huggers and tree cuddlers.   Decades ago!

Never trust a Greenie, they're poison toads in frog's clothing.  ... sorry.  ... sharks in whale's clothing?  Weeds in tree's clothing?

Just traitors to the entire human species will do me.

And therein lies the trouble with politics - I would naturally be a green supporter: what's not to like? Socialism & the environment - there aren't anything more important than those two, and the greens should be the guardians of them.

Instead, we have a petty load of power-pinching, tower-building cocksuckers.

The difference between stated intent and actuality is immense. They're why the whole SJW movement is fatally flawed.

Power. Absolute. (or even enough to apply leverage). Corrupts.

Any movement which becomes political is doomed by the very nature of politics. And if it doesn't get into politics then it never gets enough power to do much anyway.

I'm always wary of Parties which only revolve around one or two issues or ideological standpoints. They can never be more than 'spoiler' Parties as they can't be structured to support enough people with a range of expertise to form a government that can produce policies for issues other than their hobby horse ones.

Essentially, they don't give a shit about anybody who isn't in their own mutually supported, self convinced
' we know best' superiority syndrome circle.

It's why I'd prefer to vote for a crook than a zealot.

I keep trying to explain that you shouldn't take it all so serious darlin'. They're all the same, they use different slogans.

Yep. I made the point today that we're fast approaching (or have perhaps passed) America's 2016 'Hobson's Choice'.
Who do we vote for? Dumb or Dumber?

I talked to an old friend yesterday, on the phone.
She related an amazing NDE to me.

She was driving on a four lane highway in the mountains of Tennessee when a driver appeared...going in the wrong direction...heading straight at her. It made the news. No one was hurt, but the crazy driver was naked and under the influence of lsd. He claimed that he was told to do this thing.

My response to my friend was "Crap. This gives nudity and lsd a bad name. And those are two of my favorites."

I feel the same way about the greenie thing down under.

I'm totally cool with the green concept.

Like, does anyone really hate the environment?

and now your corrupt greens have ruined it for us.
before we could even get it started.

(i voted for Jill Stein.)

What's the opposite color of green?

Trump.

In the Crayola crayon box of the future, Trump will be a color.
In the 64 box of Crayola's, there was one named "flesh". It was a light pink. Useless color when you have 'burnt umber' as an option.

I absolutely 'get' that.

No! Hating Greens is not dependent on, or indicative of, hatred of nature.

(Environment is too ambiguous a term I believe.)  Some Earth environments are lethal to almost all forms of life.
It shouldn't be given the all encompassing mantle of being "our" sacrosanct environment in all it's forms.

It may be natural in all forms, but some parts of the planet are simply not our environment at all.   We live in habitats within the environment, ...  but I'm  just having a pedantic episode. Blush

Hey!  Not only "our" corrupt Greens.  The original well intentioned, politically naive pixies were infiltrated decades ago in Europe by the "Greenmunists".  Ours are a relatively recent corruption, only gaining more than a couple of percent points of the vote, similar to yours, until the GW 'hysteria' hauled them aboard and gave them cred.

Their high point was a few seats won and around 11% of the primary vote but they're slipping and losing seats in by-elections to even more 'fringey' Independents and far Lefties with bleeding heart policies.  Their cred is blown and they're lucky to poll 9% tops, heading fast or 6 or 7%.

They can't blame the forces of darkness, (the fossil fuel industry) people aren't buying that any more.

Not after they voted to approve a massive coal mining development and ... voted against legislation to implement a Carbon Tax!
They also voted against allowing a plebiscite to ratify legalizing gay marriage!  Despite 80% of them being gayer than springtime!
There were very deep ulterior motives, political manipulation, behind those contradictory decisions but they weren't understood by the people who trusted them to be environment and gender equality crusaders.
They long since lost the whale hugger demographic, I have no idea who they 'trust' these days.

Like the Libs, the Greens are the agents of their own destruction with factional friction and rank hypocrisy putrefying their 'ology.

(i voted for Jill Stein.)

My deepest commiserations, I'm sure you'll find a more practical and useful recipient of your vote next time.

What's the opposite color of green?

Trump.

Unfortunately, for some, in the US, yes.

In America red's the Right.  In OZ Labor's colour is red, the Conservatives are Blue so it was funny when on occasion the Greens lined up and voted for Conservative policies and the media labeled them The Turquoises.

But they're bloody chameleons, they do that colour change trick better and faster than the average octopus, pink through all the shades to khaki, depending on what they're 'standing' for on the day.

In the Crayola crayon box of the future, Trump will be a color.

Out of curiosity, which 'colour' do you apply to him?  ... oh, never mind.  Orange right?  [Image: yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon.gif]

Odd thing about 'flesh' colour, a close look at the old masters will reveal a surprising amount of green is used in depicting caucasian skin tones.

That's always got me - red is the international colour of the left. Red Russians, Red Chinese, the Red Flag, international Labour...

Always gotta be different, the Yanks.
